With the support of our community, we were able to successfully complete our fundraising campaign for the mangrove protection project in India.

The donation of €3,750 has now been officially handed over as agreed by Sascha Tischer (True Assets e. V.) to Stefan Hörmann from our project partner Global Nature Fund (GNF) in Bonn. GNF coordinates and implements the project on site together with its partner NEWS India.

The aim of the initiative is to protect and restore mangrove forests along the Indian coast. Mangroves are among the most effective natural climate protectors: they store large amounts of CO₂, stabilize coastal regions, and create vital habitats for numerous animal and plant species.

A huge thank you to all supporters and to the Global Nature Fund for making this campaign possible. This year, another small fundraising campaign in support of a GNF project is planned.
