Darmstadt, Germany – True Assets has joined the Sustainable Palm Oil Forum (FONAP). This decision marks another significant step towards a sustainable future for the German, Austrian, and Swiss markets, underscoring the commitment to persistently and diligently address pressing issues for greater sustainability, particularly in the palm oil sector.
FONAP is an alliance of approximately 50 companies, NGOs, associations, and the Federal Ministries for Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The primary goal of FONAP is to promote sustainably produced palm oil in these markets and continuously improve existing standards and certifications.
True Assets aims to bring the cross-sector and interdisciplinary perspectives of its members to the forum. The organization advocates for regenerative solutions and recognizes the value of swift, pragmatic solutions that have the potential for a greater impact. In a time when many initiatives focus on developing grand solutions, True Assets expressly acknowledges the contribution of smaller, efficient solutions that can be swiftly implemented.
As a non-governmental organization, True Assets will act as a critical voice within the primarily private-sector-oriented membership of FONAP but will always remain a constructive, solution-oriented, and integrous participant on the path towards more sustainable implementations.
